Â³Âº        Doro Pesch is a female vocalist, formerly of the        Âº Â³
Â³Âº        German band Warlock and one of the few female           Âº Â³
Â³Âº        singers of the 1980s Heavy Metal scene, which           Âº Â³
Â³Âº        was primarily a male-dominated genre of music.          Âº Â³
Â³Âº                                                                Âº Â³
Â³Âº        After Warlock underwent many personnel changes,         Âº Â³
Â³Âº        Pesch was the only remaining original member of         Âº Â³
Â³Âº        the band. After changing her record label, she          Âº Â³
Â³Âº        released the fifth album as Doro, as the former         Âº Â³
Â³Âº        label owned the trademark on the Warlock name.          Âº Â³
Â³Âº                                                                Âº Â³
Â³Âº        Pesch has been solo ever since with a solid             Âº Â³
Â³Âº        backing band and lives in Europe. She celebrated        Âº Â³
Â³Âº        her 20th year as a performer with her most              Âº Â³
Â³Âº        recent release "Warrior Soul" in 2006.                  Âº Â³

Â³Âº        Originally Pesch was a member of the group              Âº Â³
Â³Âº        Snakebite, but in 1983 she left to join Warlock.        Âº Â³
Â³Âº        In 1987, after Warlock's fourth album, "Triumph         Âº Â³
Â³Âº        And Agony", enough band members had been                Âº Â³
Â³Âº        exchanged that Doro Pesch was the only remaining        Âº Â³
Â³Âº        member. What would be Warlock's fifth album was         Âº Â³
Â³Âº        released titled Force Majeure in 1989.                  Âº Â³

Â³Âº        Her ten year contract with Polygram expired in          Âº Â³
Â³Âº        1995, when she signed with WEA.                         Âº Â³

Â³Âº        In 1995, Doro made her acting debut on the              Âº Â³
Â³Âº        German television program "Verbotene Liebe"             Âº Â³

Â³Âº        After the "Love Me In Black" tour in 1998, Doro         Âº Â³
Â³Âº        parted ways from WEA and signed at SPV                  Âº Â³
