Fans can now relive the º ³ ³º live Priest experience through “Battle Cry”. º ³ ³º Recorded live on August, 1st 2015 at Germany’s º ³ ³º Wacken Festival in front of 85,000, the live º ³ ³º performance is available on 15 track audio CD as º ³ ³º well as DVD and Blu-Ray which both feature an º ³ ³º additional 3 tracks shot in Poland on December º ³ ³º 10th 2015. º ³ ³º Though not the first live concert performance º ³ ³º release from metal gods Judas Priest it is º ³ ³º however the first live release from the band to º ³ ³º cover material from practically every album º ³ ³º including “Redeemer of Souls”. Everything a º ³ ³º hardcore Priest fan could want is here and more! º ³ ³º From such classic tracks as “Metal Gods” and º ³ ³º “Victim of Changes” to newer tracks like “Battle º ³ ³º Cry” and “Redeemer of Souls”. You serious get a º ³ ³º little bit of everything with this release. One º ³ ³º track missing that I had hoped would make the º ³ ³º cut was that of the song “Love Bites” off of º ³ ³º “Defenders of the Faith”. The band performed º ³ ³º this song for the first time since 1986 during º ³ ³º the opening night of the “Redeemer of Souls” º ³ ³º tour in Rochester, NY and continued playing it º ³ ³º off and on throughout the tours run. Despite my º ³ ³º own personal favorite missing the stunning º ³ ³º visuals and immense crowd and staging made me º ³ ³º quickly forget about that one minor detail as º ³ ³º there was just so much to take in. The band made º ³ ³º a really great decision by selecting the Wacken º ³ ³º Festival as it is really proving to be one of if º ³ ³º not thee most premier heavy metal festival. º ³ ³º This release will make a great addition to any º ³ ³º metal fans collection especially if they were º ³ ³º able to catch one of the bands shows from this º ³ ³º tour. It would have been nice though if they º ³ ³º came packaged as a CD/DVD combo giving you both º ³ ³º an audio and video option all in one purchase. º ³ ³º It also would have been cool to include some º ³ ³º behind the scenes footage from the tour along º ³ ³º with the 3 additional tracks being the tour was º ³ ³º such a large undertaking for the band.
